So now that my daily commute to salt lake is over I am looking back at the audiobooks I was able to listen to over the last 7 months. Here they are:
Clive Cussler – Arctic Drift
James Patterson – Against Medical Advice
W.E.B. Griffin – By Order of the President
John Grisham – The Associate
Lincoln Child – Terminal Freeze
Clive Cussler – Corsair
Malcolm Gladwell – Outliers
Randy Pausch – The Last Lecture
Lee Child – Gone Tomorrow
Clive Cussler – Medusa
I think that is it.
You can probably tell what type of fiction I like best. A little brainless action adventure is always sure to please. I did however try and throw a little non-fiction in the mix.
My favorite would have to be Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. It is an interesting study of success. I think there is a lot of truth relating to your circumstances and success. Some people are born with many advantages, others just happen across amazing opportunities. So success isn’t only about how hard you work, but the advantages you grab along the way. Hopefully I will be able to see these advantages in my life but also in the life of my two boys.
Any books out there you think I may like, let me know!
